Korzen Health is partnering with a 118-bed acute care hospital in the Georgetown area of Austin, Texas, to recruit a Psychiatrist to join a growing behavioral health team.

About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth in our behavioral health service lines, we are adding another Psychiatrist to our established clinical team. This is a 100% inpatient position within a hospital offering comprehensive mental healthcare programs for adults, adolescents, and active military members — all delivered by an on-site, in-house staff.

• Established Team: Join a full clinical team of 5 Psychiatrists, along with PMHNPs, LCSWs, and Psychiatric RNs
• Dedicated Units: Separate Adult and Child/Adolescent units within the hospital
• PHP/IOP Program: Opportunity for additional compensation by participating in afternoon PHP/IOP programming
• Balanced Call Schedule: Call and weekends shared across the team — typically one call night per week and one weekend per month
• Varied Scope of Work: Mix of admissions/discharges and medication management, with shared caseloads across the team
• Steady Referral Pipeline: Admissions sourced through local area ERs
• Provider Autonomy: Flexibility to build your own patient panel and set your daily patient threshold
• Unit Structure: Adult Inpatient (High and Low Acuity), with the option to support the Adolescent program
